Time: 05:00 PM - 07:00 PM
Location: Maxwell Hall
Join us in Maxwell Hall for a night of Action Painting as part of the Nights at Maxwell series. At the event, students will be able to paint to their heart’s content, no experience needed. The focus of the evening will be Action Painting, the technique made popular by abstract expressionist painter Jackson Pollock in the 1950s. Action Painting entails dripping, throwing, or splashing paint onto a surface. Special guests Tom and Charlotte Wegrzynowski, instructors of studio art and art history at UA, will be in attendance to provide historical context and advice for creating a successful Action Painting. This event is free and open to the public. Come make some art with us!
