Join the College of Communication and Information Sciences as we spotlight Alabama State University historian Derryn Moten, who recently republished the first biography of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.    Chair of the Department of History and Political Science at ASU, Moten wrote the introduction to the republished volume, Crusader WIthout Violence: The Biography of Martin Luther King, Jr. which was written by Dr. L.D. Reddick in 1959.   During his presentation,  Moten will give details not only about the relationship between the King family and Reddick, but also the involvement of students and faculty at what was then known as Alabama State College in the Civil Rights Movement.
