Staffer customizes scientific glassware in a shop that he designed himself

Rick Smith, the facility manager for the Glass Blowing Facility at UA, creates custom glassware for use in research projects based on requirements given to him by UA researchers. Smith designed the shop himself, following best practices from other shops he had visited to create one of the finest glass-blowing facilities in the Southeast.
