SAN 101 Elementary Sanskrit I. Three hours.

Ancient Sanskrit, spoken and written. Course involves self-instructional approach with tapes and texts in the Critical Languages Center. Each student meets three hours per week with a tutor. This course is the first semester of college-level study in Sanskrit. Offered each semester.

SAN 102 Elementary Sanskrit II. Three hours.

Prerequisite: SAN 101 or equivalent.
