FIN 101 Elementary Finnish I. Three hours.

Contemporary Finnish—speaking, reading, and writing. Involves self-instructional approach with tapes and texts in the Critical Languages Center. Students meet three hours per week with a tutor. First semester of college-level study in Finnish. Offered each semester.

FIN 102 Elementary Finnish II. Three hours.

Prerequisite: FIN 101 or equivalent.
