MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Capstone College of Nursing is to

• provide excellent education to prepare individuals for beginning and advanced professional nursing practice
• advance the nursing profession through research and service
• provide service through nursing practice, education, and consultation

The College accepts the commitment to influence and respond to health care needs of the citizens of Alabama with a specific emphasis on rural populations in the West Alabama region.
