URDU 101 Elementary Urdu I. Three hours.
Contemporary Urdu—speaking, reading, and writing. Course involves self-instructional approach with tapes and texts in the Critical Languages Center. Students meet three hours per week with a tutor. It is the first semester of college-level study in Urdu. Offered each semester.
URDU 102 Elementary Urdu II. Three hours.
Prerequisite: URDU 101 or equivalent.
