HIN 101 Elementary Hindi I. Three hours.
Contemporary Hindi — speaking, reading, and writing. Course involves self-instructional approach with tapes and texts in the Critical Languages Center. Students meet three hours per week with a tutor. It is the first semester of college-level study in Hindi. Offered each semester.
HIN 102 Elementary Hindi II. Three hours.
Prerequisite: HIN 101 or equivalent.
