[Support Programs and Services for Students]
The Office of Disability Services (ODS) is the central contact point for University students with disabilities. The goal of ODS is to ensure that University programs and services are accessible to qualified students with disabilities. ODS works to provide necessary individualized academic accommodations and support services while promoting student responsibility and self-advocacy. The student is responsible for providing documentation of his or her disability to ODS in order to make University officials aware of the need for academic accommodations and services. For more information on eligibility and services, contact ODS at (205) 348-4285; TDD (205) 348-3081; or write The University of Alabama, Office of Disability Services, Box 870185, Tuscaloosa, AL 35487-0185. ODS is located at 220 Research Drive.
