Web Communications

The role of the Office of Web Communications is to devise, coordinate and optimize the University's Internet presence as an element of the institution's overall integrated communications strategy.

The Office of Web Communications is responsible for the University home page, all secondary level pages, all undergraduate admissions and related sites, news and institutional messaging-related sites, and numerous other sites of strategic importance. In addition, the office provides assistance, support, coordination and consultation involving strategic communications and web initiatives campus-wide.

Web Templates Available for Entire Campus

Web templates based on the look and feel of the current UA Home Page are available for usage by any official unit of The University of Alabama. The templates are organized into categories for each type of group on campus in order to offer a greater level of consistency across UA web sites and to simplify template selection for designers.

The UA Web Guide is intended to serve as the standard-setting document for the creation and implementation of web sites for the entire University of Alabama campus, and as a resource for web designers to assist with the process of developing official and unofficial UA web sites.
