Beth Sacksteder Mann, MA.Ed.
Capstone College of Nursing, Director of Office of Nursing Student Services

Beth Sacksteder Mann oversees the programs and staff of the Office of Student Services, which include academic advising for lower division students, promotion process for upper division, College scholarships, College learning community and living-learning community, student records and degree requirements. Beth received her Bachelor of Arts from Mount Union College and Master of Arts in Education from The University of Akron, both in Ohio. She is currently completing her Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration at The University of Alabama. She has been employed at the University of Alabama since 2004. Brittney Davis
Capstone College of Nursing, Receptionist

Brittney Davis greets students and guests of the College when they enter Russell Hall or call with inquiries. She is responsible for referring students to the most appropriate person to answer their questions. Brittney supports several aspects of ONSS. Brittney schedules advising and student appointments for Beth Sacksteder Mann, Pat McCullar and Valerie Mills. She has been employed at the University since November, 2005. Pat McCullar
Capstone College of Nursing, Coordinator of Nursing Student Recruitment

Pat McCullar coordinates undergraduate and graduate student recruitment for the College. She meets with and advises prospective students and their families who are interested in Nursing. She represents CCN at University recruitment events on and off campus, so you may see her at UA recruitment events. Pat also advises transfer students and students who already have baccalaureate degrees that are interested in pursing a nursing degree. She also serves as the advisor for the College’s Ambassadors. Valerie S. Mills
Capstone College of Nursing, Academic Advisor

Valerie Mills primarily advises lower division BSN students and coordinates lower division advising activities for students regarding their academic plan. She is also available to meet with current UA students who are interested in changing their major to nursing. She coordinates Bama Bound orientation activities for new and transfer students, assists with the recruitment of students, as well as other selected College events. Cynthia Morris
