Director of Office of Nursing Student Services
Rebekah Welch oversees the programs and staff of the Office of Student Services, which include academic advising for lower division students, promotion process for upper division, College scholarships, College learning community and living-learning community, student records and degree requirements. Shelley Vold
Academic Advisor
Shelley Vold primarily advises lower division BSN students and coordinates lower division advising activities for students regarding their academic plan. She is also available to meet with current UA students who are interested in changing their major to nursing. She coordinates Bama Bound orientation activities for new and transfer students, assists with the recruitment of students, as well as other selected College events. Cynthia Morris
Records Specialist
Cynthia coordinates data collection, maintains student records and databases for the College. She performs statistical analysis from the databases. She explains policy/procedures to students who attend the University and she assist with the planning of student events, such as promotion to Upper Division, commencement, and Honor's Day activities.
