RN Options - Upper Division Promotion

RN Mobility students must apply for promotion to the upper division only for the fall semester. Students must be admitted to The University of Alabama in order to be promoted to the upper division (an application for admission is available at http://apply.ua.edu).

Candidates should demonstrate:

  • Successful completion of all lower division coursework
  • A minimum GPA of 2.5
  • A minimum GPA of 2.0 in science courses

Promotion for RN to BSN/MSN students requires a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Applications for promotion are due by June 15.
