The mission of the Capstone College of Nursing is to:
1. Provide excellent education to prepare individuals for beginning and advanced professional nursing practice,
2. Advance the nursing profession through research, scholarship and service, and
3. Provide service through nursing practice, education, and consultation.
The College accepts the commitment to influence and respond to the health care needs of the citizens of Alabama with a specific emphasis on rural populations in the West Alabama region.
