Mrs. Cheshire received her BSN from Auburn University in 1988. She received her MSN from The University of Alabama in Birmingham in 1991 with a community health focus. She worked as a staff nurse at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham for two years. She then spent the next six years working in home health in the Tuscaloosa area. She joined the faculty of the Capstone College of Nursing in 1997 as a part-time clinical instructor in community health. In addition to her clinical work with undergraduate students, she now teaches courses in the RN Mobility Track at the Capstone.
