Mrs. Mills earned her BSN in 1983 from the University of Alabama where she was named Most Outstanding Senior. She earned her MN in Perinatal Nursing in 1989 from Emory University. She has over 20 years experience in maternal/newborn and high-risk obstetric nursing. She taught Perinatal Outreach Education in North Carolina and was an Assistant Professor of Nursing at State University of West Georgia teaching fundamentals, adult health and obstetric/pediatric nursing. She has published articles related to oral health during pregnancy and holistic preparation for NCLEX. She joined the University in 2000 and is currently a full-time Instructor teaching Fundamentals of Professional Nursing Practice.
