Dr. Dunn received her BSN from the University of Alabama in 1967, her MSN from Mississippi University for Women in 1983 as a family nurse practitioner, and her DSN from UAB in 1989. Dr. Dunn has taught in numerous undergraduate and graduate courses at the Capstone, but her area of clinical expertise is women's health. Her research trajectory encompasses varied areas of spiritual care, particularly in the area of women's health. Dr. Dunn maintains active membership in numerous professional organizations and maintains certification as a childbirth educator.
