  • August 27, 2008 ANS Table and Membership on the Quad at UA Get on Board Day
  • September 8, 2008 Kick-Off Meeting
  • September 19-20, 2008 Alabama Student Nurses Association/ Alabama State Nurses Association Joint State Convention at Four Points Capstone Hotel in Tuscaloosa For more information see http://www.alabamanursingstudent.com/

  • September 19, 2008 Who: All declared UA Nursing students are invited to the AANS State Convention STUDENT SOCIAL EVENT (live music, snacks, fun) without registering for the convention but should RSVP before September 12 via maze004@gmail.com
    Location: Canterbury Episcopal Student Center on the corner of Hackberry Lane and University Blvd. (behind the small park)
    Time: 7-9 PM

  • April 10, 2009 The Capstone ANS Professional Development Award of an embroidered crimson stole used as part of academic regalia (gowns , stoles, and honor cords for graduation ceremonies) are presented by Dean Barger at the Nursing Awards Dinner this evening.
  • April 15-19, 2009 National Student Nurses Association Annual Convention in Nashville If you are interested in attending this 2009 convention or running for National Office in 2010 contact Ms. Patterson.
  • April 27, 2009 Meeting
    NOTE: Active Membership Awards (NSNA Blue and White Honor Cords used as part of academic regalia (gowns , stoles, and cords) for graduation ceremonies are given to invited Semester 4 & 5 students who meet the criteria during this meeting.
