The Graduate School presents the 2008 recipient of the Last Lecture Series Award: Dr. James M. Salem, Professor of American Studies and the 2007 recipient of the American Studies Association Mary Turpie Prize for distinguished teaching, mentoring and program development in American Studies. Dr. Salem presented his lecture entitled "Bye Bye Miss American Pie" Thursday, May 1 at 6 p.m. in 30 Alston Hall. More than 300 students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members attended Dr. Salem's lecture. |
