The Last Lecture Series

The Last Lecture Series
The Last Lecture features a University of Alabama faculty member nominated and selected by students to answer one question in the form of a highly engaging lecture: “If this were your last time to address a group of students, what would you say to them?”
A student committee comprised of graduate and undergraduate students, selects the featured lecturer from the group of nominated faculty. The winner will receive a cash award from the Graduate School and have the opportunity to present his/her lecture. This is a great opportunity for students to share the talents of their favorite professor with the UA community. Students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the Tuscaloosa community are cordially invited to attend the Last Lecture presentation.
Both undergraduate and graduate students, as well as alumni are encouraged to submit the online Nomination Form. The form is also available for download. Paper copies available are throughout the campus and at the Graduate School.
