Services: University Medical Center Lab is registered as
an independent, High Complexity Laboratory, licensed & accredited by the
State of Alabama. We offer a full range of diagnostic testing, including Hematology,
Serology, Microbiology, Parasitology, Chemistry and Urinalysis. These diagnostic
groups of testing aid in the diagnosis and monitoring of many diseases including
anemia, diabetes, hepatitis, lupus, arthritis, AIDS and other sexually transmitted
diseases. We also offer a broad range of X-Rays, EKG's, and therapeutic phlebotomy
for patients diagnosed with heredity haemochromatosis or polycythemia.
