The University of Alabama's University Medical Center in Tuscaloosa is the
premier academic medical center in the United States for training physicians
in the practice of family medicine. It is affiliated with the University
of Alabama School of Medicine, headquartered in Birmingham. You can receive
medical and health care for yourself and your family at one convenient location.
The University Medical Center is administered by the College
of Community Health Sciences. Seven clinical services are offered through
the Center; family medicine, internal medicine, minor surgery, OB/GYN, occupational
medicine, pediatric, and psychiatry clinics.
The Center serves UA faculty and staff as well as members of the Tuscaloosa-area
community.
The Center also houses various administrative and departmental offices in
addition to the School of Medicine, Tuscaloosa Program.
