How do I apply?
Review the instructions on applying for Rural Medicine programs found on the University of Alabama School of Medicine webpage at https://www.uasom.uab.edu/secondaryapplication/RMSPHome.html
You need to click on the link to create an account and enter the information requested including the program(s) for which you wish to apply.
Print the application and instructions from the download application link. Complete the application, sign it, and mail it along with your letters of recommendation to the UA School of Medicine in Birmingham at the address given in the instructions.

If you have not taken the MCAT (Medical College Admission Test), register to take it as soon as possible and no later than January, 2007 for the April testing date before the application is due.
The students in the 2007-2008 Rural Medical Scholars class will be entering medical school in 2008.
Applications (as well as letters of recommendation and transcripts) are due on or before April 13, 2007. Send all application materials to:
