Duties
* Facilitates the initiation and conduct of research by the faculty,
staff, residents, and students of the College.
* Monitors the impact of research on the educational programs of
the College.
* Keeps the College informed of campus research activities and
proposals related to health.
* Relates to the University's Institutional Review Board through
having one faculty member on both committees such that the
CCHS Research Committee can stay informed of all
proposals from our faculty and staff dealing with human
subjects and such that the IRB can be better informed of the
needs of the college.
* Recommends to the Dean guidelines for distribution of funds in
the research support account.
Reporting Channel
To the Dean through the Associate Dean for Research and Public Policy.
