DynaMed is a clinical reference tool created by physicians for physicians and other health care professionals for use primarily at the 'point-of-care'. With clinically-organized summaries for nearly 3,000 topics, DynaMed is the only evidence-based reference shown to answer most clinical questions during practice. Based on the results of a study published in Annals of Family Medicine (November/December 2005), not only did primary care clinicians answer more clinical questions with access to DynaMed than without DynaMed, but these clinicians also found more answers in DynaMed that changed clinical decisions. Trial End-Date: June 13, 2008

Essential Evidence Plus uniquely enables rapid point−of−care access to the best available filtered, graded, synopsized evidence
and evidence−derived tools.
Essential Evidence Plus presents the best evidence and not just expert opinion and provides clinicians the information needed to
make the best clinical decisions. By focusing on all evidence, all the time, it avoids the wrong decisions too often associated with
expert opinion in recent years. For example − doxazosin for hypertension, vitamin E for heart disease, beta−carotene to prevent
cancer, arthroscopic surgery for osteoarthritis of the knee, hormone replacement therapy to prevent heart disease, patching corneal
abrasions, using encainide for post−infarction arrhythmias, and sleeping infants on their sides or stomach − were all recommended
by experts yet all worsened patient outcomes.
Essential Evidence Plus December 2007 Release (Dec 2007) is a suite of evidence−based resources featuring:
Daily POEMs: Synopses of new evidence, relevant to patient care, from a continuous review, grading, and critical appraisal
of 1200+ studies published monthly in 100 journals.
Archived Daily POEMs: 3276 articles (the full collection)
Evidence Based Medicine Guidelines with:

point−of−care reference
