Barbara acts as coordinator for the Family Medicine Residency. She is the initial contact for answering questions about the Residency’s policies and procedures. Barbara coordinates all recruiting fairs and conferences, graduation, and orientation. She manages resident e-mail address accounts, list-serve, display equipment, brochures and the program’s website information. She is responsible for the creation, maintenance, and facilitation of various resident schedules.
Barbara is responsible for accreditation files, resident licensure and credentialing, employment contracts, recruiting and graduate surveys. She provides staff support for the Graduate Medical Programs Review Committee, the Family Medicine Resident Selection Committee, Family Medicine Summative Evaluation Faculty Meetings, and the In-Training exam. She is the program contact for the National Resident Matching Program ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service). She assists the Residency Director in the planning and implementation of curriculum and adherence to the ACGME (Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education) Residency Review Committee program requirements.
