Martha Ralls earned her B.S. degree in Molecular Biology from Vanderbilt University in 1988.  She then obtained her B.S. (1991) and Pharm.D. (1992) from the Samford University McWhorter School of Pharmacy.  After completing an ASHP-accredited Residency in Pharmacy Practice at UAB Medical Center, she returned to Samford University as Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice, specializing in pediatrics with a clinical practice at The Children’s Hospital of Alabama from 1994-97.  Martha graduated with her M.D. degree from The University of Alabama School of Medicine in 2001.  Choosing to focus on medical information services/management and health informatics, she obtained her M.L.I.S. degree from The University of Alabama School of Library & Information Studies in 2006.  She has been with CCHS as the Clinical Information Librarian since October of 2006.
