Liz Davis, R.N., M.P.H., is a clinical research coordinator for the Institute
for Rural Health Research in the Division of Clinical Investigations. She is
presently the study coordinator for a NIH sponsored Phase II Vaccine Study. She
is also involved in an industry sponsored study along with neonatal observational
studies. Her clinical background has been in critical care, cardiac care,
neonatal nursery, perinatal education and case management.
She is a former DCH School of Nursing diploma graduate who earned her B.S.N.
from the Capstone College of Nursing and her MPH at The University of Alabama
at Birmingham. Liz and her husband, Gary, have 2 sons who are students at the
University of Alabama.
