Doug completed his pharmacy education through Auburn University graduating with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2000. He then completed an ASHP accredited residency at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. Following residency, Doug obtained an Assistant Professor appointment with the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy in Tulsa. He established and maintained a clinical practice with the OU-Tulsa College of Medicine Department of Family Medicine inpatient service.
After five years of service with OU, Doug obtained a Clinical Associate Professor appointment with Auburn University. He will be working in a collaborative practice with the Department of Family Medicine inpatient service. In this role, he will serve as primary preceptor for fourth year Doctor of Pharmacy students.
