Dana G. Carroll received both her B.S. degree (’98) and Pharm.D. degree (’99) from Auburn University School of Pharmacy. She completed an ASHP Accredited Primary Care Residency at the University of Mississippi in 2000. Dana attained Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist certification in fall of 2002. Upon completion of her residency, Dana worked as a clinical pharmacist in the emergency department at Duke University Medical Center. She joined the faculty at the University of Oklahoma- Tulsa, College of Pharmacy and College of Medicine- Family Medicine Department in 2001. She had a clinical pharmacy practice with OU Family Medicine Clinic in Tulsa providing disease state management and patient education in diabetes, asthma, congestive heart failure, hypertension, and dyslipidemia. Dana joined the faculty at Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy in 2006 as a Clinical Associate Professor. She also holds a visiting scholar appointment with the University of Alabama Medical Center, Department of Family Medicine. Dana teaches pharmacy students and medical residents in her clinical practice in addition to her didactic teaching, service, and scholarship within the School of Pharmacy and Department of
Family Medicine. Dana is interested in diabetes, dyslipidemia, hypertension, congestive heart failure, asthma and women’s health pharmacotherapy issues.
