Directions to University Medical Center, Tuscaloosa, AL

From Montgomery, taking Hwy 82

From Birmingham, taking I-59/20 to Tuscaloosa

• Entering Tuscaloosa, take McFarland Blvd. (Exit 73)

• Bear right (Hwy 82 West) and travel to University Blvd. 

• Shortly after passing the University Mall get into the right lane.  (Note: There will be a “University Boulevard next right” sign on the railroad overpass). 

• Go under the overpass and bear right going around the curve up to the traffic light to University Blvd. (Hwy 215 South).

• Turn RIGHT.  Travel to the third traffic light.

• Turn right onto 5th Avenue East.  University Medical Center is located on the left at 850 East 5th Ave.  

• Take the 2nd entrance on the left into UMC and travel around to the west entrance (facing the campus).

• Enter the ground floor and go through the second set of doors to the elevator and stairs which will be immediately on your left.   At the top of the stairway, take the door to the left.  You will then be at the elevator entrance/exit.  Take the hallway to the left, go through the door at the end of the hallway and the Pediatric Clinic will be immediately to your left.
