DURATION: Eight (8) weeks.
LOCATION: DCH Regional Medical Center and
Univeristy Medical Center
INPATIENT EXPERIENCE: Eight (8) weeks on Internal Medicine Service at DCH Regional Medical Center.
OUTPATIENT EXPERIENCE: Each student usually will be scheduled for one primary care clinic each week in the Internal Medicine outpatient suite at University Medical Center as well as one specialty clinic - either Dermatology or Endocrinology. Students will work directly with Internal Medicine faculty in their primary clinics. If the doctor is out, students will need to arrange to work with another Internal Medicine Physician at an alternative time. Any clinics that are missed must be made up. Clinic begins immediately, so students should check their schedules and attend clinics beginning today.
